Having recently received her award for 25 years of service with BPR Medical, we spoke with Julie Hallam about her experience and what changes she has observed over the years.

BPR Medical Limited is pleased to have completed the NHS Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment. The Assessment is a self-assessment and reporting tool and resulted in us receiving a Level 1: Publicly committed to net zero carbon and engaged with sustainability.

On November 1, 2023, Iowa Medicaid began coverage of the Firesafe Cannula Valve, making it a reimbursable item with HCPCS code E0700.

BPR Medical and Medclair, a leading Sweden-based specialist in safe nitrous oxide use, have signed an agreement that gives BPR exclusive rights to supply Medclair’s mobile nitrous oxide conversion technology in the UK and Ireland.

Media analysis undertaken by BPR Medical suggests serious home oxygen fire incidents are not being identified by the EU Medical Device Vigilance System, with inconsistent reporting processes putting patients at risk across the continent.

Over 500 fires involving home oxygen, resulting in over 300 deaths including two firefighters, have been reported by the US media since 2017, our new study – Firebreaks: A risk-based approach to safer home oxygen delivery – has revealed.

NEWCASTLE mum Kaja Gersinska has become the first person in the UK to use climate-friendly pain relief during labour after giving birth at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary. Kaja used BPR Medical’s Ultraflow analgesic demand valve, which was connected to a nitrous oxide capture and destruction system provided by Medclair.
