Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Awarded for our life-saving Firesafe™ range – now mandatory in the UK and Germany.

We received notice of the award from Her Majesty the Queen on Saturday 21st April 2012.

The award for Innovation was in recognition of our development of our revolutionary Firesafe™ range, which prevents the spread of oxygen-related fires. Oxygen use in clinical areas has the potential to greatly accelerate the spread of fires. Firesafe™ has already helped saved many lives around the world and is now mandatory in the UK and Germany.

BPR's Chief Executive Officer, Richard Radford says: “We are thrilled to win this award, which underscores our commitment to innovation, patient safety and quality. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of all those involved, both in and outside of BPR, that have supported the development of this important safety device. I hope everyone will take a moment to celebrate this award in the knowledge that they have made a difference.”
