Russian Sanctions Statement

Sanctions have been placed on Russia by countries across the globe, including a ban on the use of Russian iron
and steel.

As part of this, the UK, under the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and the EU under Council Regulation (EU) 2023/1214 (“2023 Regulations”) amending Regulation (EU) No 833/2014, introduced a prohibition on the import of certain Russian iron and steel products processed in a third country or multiple third countries. The prohibition on the import of Russian iron and steel products processed in a third country came into effect from 30th September 2023 and applies only to goods imported into the UK and EU after this date.

Conflict Minerals

BPR are committed to ensuring our supply chains are compliant to all legislation.

Conflict Minerals are tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold – they also are also referred to as 3TG.  Where these minerals are extracted from conflict-affected areas they can be used to influence and finance human rights abuses and armed conflicts.  As part of BPR’s commitment to ethical manufacture we ensure our supply chains are compliant with current reporting requirements.”

Ultimately, people’s lives depend on our product performance and so rigorous testing is an intrinsic part of our culture

– in fact you could say it’s our lifeblood.

Everyone at BPR takes the responsibilities we have to our customers and product users seriously and it’s these responsibilities that drive our commitment to manufacturing excellence.
