Flowmeters & Regulators Training

Course content:

The course begins with an overview of the risks associated with high pressure regulators and the measures adopted to minimise the risk of incidents. You will get a good understanding of the various harmonised standards that apply, including the relatively new standard ISO15001 - Oxygen Compatibility, and their significance to CE Marking compliance.

Theory, however, only takes up a comparatively small part of the day as we believe that service training should be a 'hands-on' experience. We deliberately keep the course numbers down so that you will have an opportunity to actually service a full range of Carnét regulators, dial flow regulators, flowmeters and micro flowmeters during the day.

Of course, much of the benefit to be gained from completing a training course is not only what is on the formal agenda, but also what can be learnt from our experienced trainers during the day. We are confident that you will leave with a wealth of additional information and some useful tips that will more than justify your time. But, don't take our word for it, refer to some of the feedback given by people who have already attended.

Who should attend:

Medical engineers and/or managers responsible for the servicing of Carnét gas control products. The course also provides an excellent opportunity to meet the Carnét team and get a better understanding of our products (an ideal way of vetting a supplier as part of your organisation’s supplier assessment procedures)..
