There are two micro flowmeter ranges available (Range A & Range E) depending upon the needs of the infant. Many neonatal departments have a number of each type to ensure that they can cover any eventuality but it really does depend on the infants concerned and your department procedures. The flow settings for the two ranges available are as follows:
