Outstanding Growth Award – May 2006
It is always great to be recognised for your efforts, so we were really pleased to win the Outstanding Growth Award at the Medilink Annual Awards ceremony held at BioCity, Nottingham.
The BSI sponsored award was presented by Vicki Medley of British Standards and Professor Heinz Wolff. Professor Wolff was the very first biomedical engineer, coining the title Biomedical Engineer in the early 1950’s as a way to describe what he was doing at the time. It was therefore very fitting and a great honour to receive the award from such an eminent person.
